Being on hold with a company and being told, "Sorry for the wait, we are currently experiencing an unusually large number of calls" yet every single time I call them, I get that same response. It can't be unusually large if it's the standard!!! You simply don't have the right capacity setup to handle the amount of calls you receive.

I don't know if this is me just having a mid-20s existential crisis, but the world seems to be in a funny state. We're told by everyone we need to be doing more, leveraging AI, leveraging this or that. Yet at the same time, we should be doing less, keeping a healthy work–life balance, spending time with family, and making memories.
