Today wasn’t a great day 👎🏻. Everything went wrong. My knees and ankles have started feeling weak and my throat was closing because of my cat allergy.
I did my breakfast duties as normal, along with our morning walk 🐕. Then came home and slept 💤 all day.
I wanted to be more productive, but the pain and tiredness got to me.
Since I didn’t have much energy, I thought I would treat myself to Taco Bell 🌮. I can confirm it was very yummy and made me feel slightly better.
Another nice walk this morning. Today I spent most of the day on a call 📞 with a friend who was helping me with some website stuff. I enjoyed watching the Women’s Hundred cricket 🏏.
I managed breakfast and lunch, however was too tired 😴 to make dinner.
The evening walk didn’t go to plan, Buddy wasn’t listening to me and made the whole walk very stressful.
My knees have been giving me some pain recently, so moving about has been tricky.
I think the stress came from a couple of different things, like making sure I have keys 🔑 , put the alarm on, fed all the animals at the correct times and then also battling my tiredness and lack of energy on top of everything.
I’m still proud of myself so far, it’s not been easy and I think living in my own place will be slightly different as I wouldn’t have all these extra pet responsibilities and large house to worry about.
Today was a good day. We went for a long walk this morning. Quite hot still 🥵 , so we kept in the shade as much as possible.
I popped back home after the walk to pick up my VR headset and steal some food 🍝 , oh and I gave Marty a cuddle while I was there.
The Buddy 🐕 and the sofa 🛋️ were my best friend today. We spent the afternoon chilling watching YouTube.
Dinner tonight was Steak pie 🥧, chips 🍟 and peas. I think I’m getting the hang of this whole cooking thing!
Today mark’s the first day of living alone. Our family/friends have gone away on holiday and they needed someone to look after their pets.
I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to find out what it’s like to live by myself in a house, since I was planning on getting my own place 🏡 in the near future.
As with the rest of my website, documenting my day and how I get on is something that I thought would be useful when looking back.
Today was good, I felt excited about the adventure ahead, however also slightly nervous as there was lots of things to remember as I was the only person responsible for everything.
I found the day went fairly quickly, a long dog walk 🐕 this morning in the heat was exhausting.
I got on with my normal work for the day, replying to emails ✉️ and getting some custom form work complete to send over to a client for the first draft.
There were a few issues with food. When it came to lunch, I intended to have a ham sandwich, sadly the bread 🥖 had gone off and mouldy, this meant I had cereal and a yoghurt instead.
For dinner, I had pizza 🍕 and potato waffles which were lovely and cooked in the oven. I surprised myself with my cooking skills (however basic they are).
Then it was time for the second walk of the day, this consisted of going round the block and getting some fresh air before tucking up into bed 🛏️ and heading to sleep.
